The story
Kadubu are steamed rice cakes. Wikipedia’s idli page notes kotte kadubu, batter steamed in jackfruit leaves, in Karnataka, the leaf cup perfuming the rice. Malnad and Tulu Nadu share the method: savoury at breakfast, or sweet with coconut and jaggery. The leaf-cup is the story, not a restaurant listing.
